I think the NFL’s new overtime rules for playoffs are fair, giving both teams a chance to possess the ball. However, for regular season games, sudden death still feels a bit harsh. Maybe adopting the college football format, where both teams get equal opportunities, could work. Watching thrilling games like Bills-Chiefs makes me lean toward more balanced rules.
