Olympic boxing is quite different to pro boxing in many ways, a lot of good boxers compete in the Olympics before turning pro or early in their pro careers.

The truth is that Olympics have had a significant impact on professional boxing careers. it has helped boxers transition from amateur to professionals. So with transitioning from amateur to professional many Olympic champions have gone on to have successful professional careers, like Muhammad Ali etc

US amateur boxing has long been a breeding ground for future champions, with fighters like Sugar Ray Leonard and Floyd Mayweather rising through Olympic ranks. The Olympics provide a stage for young talent to shine globally. Personally, I admire how these athletes embody both national pride and the purest form of competition, often launching careers that define the sport.
