Daniel Dubois was supposed to fight Joseph Parker on February 22, 2025, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for the IBF heavyweight title. Sadly, the fight was canceled as a result of Daniel Dubois withdrawing because of an unspecified illness.
Joseph Parker still decided to fight Martin Bakole as a replacement on short notice but not for the IBF heavyweight title.
