The American Motorsports Calendar: Too Crowded?

Post by G-One »

With NASCAR, IndyCar, IMSA, and MotoGP events often overlapping, fans sometimes have to choose between major races. Does this crowded calendar hurt viewership and fan engagement? Should organizers coordinate better to avoid clashes, or is competition among series inevitable? Let’s discuss how motorsports in the US could streamline its schedule to give each series the attention it deserves. What would your ideal motorsports calendar look like?

The overlap in motorsports events can definitely create a challenge for fans who want to follow multiple series. It can dilute viewership and fan engagement, especially when major events clash. Ideally, I think there should be more collaboration between organizers to avoid these conflicts, especially for big events like the Indy 500 or Daytona 500. Staggering the schedules would give each series more attention and make it easier for fans to support the full spectrum of motorsports.
