Post by Roman »

While road marathons like Chicago and Boston dominate the mainstream, trail marathons are gaining popularity in the US. Events like the Western States 100 showcase endurance in rugged terrain. Do you think trail marathons should get more media attention? Are they harder than road marathons? Let’s compare the two and discuss which you prefer as a runner or spectator.

Trail marathons isn't bad though not a huge fan but it should be given more media attention so that more people appreciate it but I prefer road marathon exception of ice and heavy rain, roads provide a firm, responsive surface to run on all year round for runners , making them great for faster running.

While road marathons like New York and Boston dominate the spotlight, trail marathons offer a unique experience, attracting those seeking adventure and a break from urban environments. Both forms test endurance but appeal to different types of athletes.
