I think the NFL should consider shortening the preseason. With 17 regular-season games, the preseason feels a bit redundant. Players are already at risk of injury during those games, and many starters don’t play much anyway. Reducing the preseason would not only help avoid unnecessary injuries but also give teams more time to fine-tune their regular-season preparations.

I think the NFL should shorten the preseason. Three games feel sufficient for evaluating talent without risking unnecessary injuries to key players.
