The Stanley Cup remains the pinnacle of achievement in professional hockey. Which US team do you think will dominate in the next decade?

It’s hard to predict, but teams like the Colorado Avalanche and Vegas Golden Knights seem poised for long-term success. The Avalanche’s 2022 Stanley Cup win showcased their young, talented core, while Vegas has consistently remained competitive since their debut. Teams like the New Jersey Devils, with emerging stars like Jack Hughes, also look promising. It’ll be exciting to see which team rises to dominance!

There’s been lots of years where the cup final was better than the NBA Final. It’s just the popularity of hockey is dwarfed by basketball and therefore doesn’t get the coverage. It takes a really great cup final and a boring/bad nba finals for people to notice and there’s certain sports fans who go out of their way to dismiss hockey regardless of how good the playoffs are and will never give it a chance.

teams like the Avalanche and Golden Knights are built for sustained success with their mix of youth and experience. The Devils, with Hughes leading the charge, could definitely be a powerhouse soon too. It’s going to be fascinating to watch how these teams evolve and challenge the established dynasties in the coming years!
