Prize Money in Swimming: Is It Enough?
Prize Money in Swimming: Is It Enough?
Unlike sports like tennis or basketball, swimming doesn’t always provide massive financial rewards. While events like the FINA World Championships offer prize money, most professional swimmers rely heavily on sponsorships. Do you think the prize money in swimming is adequate for the effort and dedication the sport requires? Should organizations like FINA increase payouts to make swimming a more lucrative career option?

Yesh right most professional swimmers rely on sponsorships which makes the prize money in swimming not adequate I believe more money should be offered for the effort and dedication the sport need. This will help bring in more potentials

money in swimming isn't competitive with other sports but it is getting better as at last year
World Aquatics awarded $7.1 million in prize money to 319 swimmers, which was a record amount for the organization. They are not doing badly
